The Young Idea Playground for the 2023 – 2024 school year with the theme “Ideas for a better life” consists of 2 challenge rounds:
Round 1: Formation and expression of ideas on paintings:
In this round, with their rich imagination and artistic ability, the children will express their ideas and inventions on paintings and send them to the Organizing Committee.
After 5 months of launching on September 29, 2023, Round 1 has received over 590 thousand ideas, bringing the total number of ideas to over 4.9 million over 14 years of the event.
At the end of Round 1, the Organizing Committee selected 30 outstanding ideas to participate in Round 2 “Model Development and Presentation”.
Round 2: Model Development and Presentation of ideas expressed through models:
On March 1, 2024, the Final Round and Award Ceremony of the Young Idea Playground for the 2023-2024 school year was held at Honda Vietnam Company (Vinh Phuc) with direct presentations of ideas through the models made by the children.
The owners of the 30 models had the opportunity to present, freely express their passion, bring new and interesting shares, and especially show their humanity.
In the end, the judges evaluated impartially the 30 best ideas and awarded the Special – First – Second – Third prizes to the students, while announcing the list of 220 ideas receiving the Encouragement Award.
The specific attractive prize structure is as follows:
04 Special Prizes: Cash scholarships worth 10 million VND each
06 First Prizes: Cash scholarships worth 7 million VND each
08 Second Prizes: Cash scholarships worth 5 million VND each
12 Third Prizes: Cash scholarships worth 2 million VND each
220 Encouragement Prizes: Cash scholarships worth 500,000 VND each
The schools of the students winning the Special, First, Second, and Third prizes also receive corresponding rewards:
04 Awards for schools with students winning the Special prize, each prize worth 10 million VND in cash (including 5 million VND for the guiding teacher)
06 Awards for schools with students winning the First prize, each prize worth 8 million VND in cash (including 4 million VND for the guiding teacher)
08 Awards for schools with students winning the Second prize, each prize worth 6 million VND in cash (including 3 million VND for the guiding teacher)
12 Awards for schools with students winning the Third prize, each prize worth 4 million VND in cash (including 2 million VND for the guiding teacher)
