According to many car owners, while many gasoline car manufacturers have utilized advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) to the maximum extent possible, VinFast electric cars do the complete opposite by providing abundant necessary driving assistance features. Mr. Phan Anh, who has completed a 1,800 km journey with the VF 8 car, pointed out a series of experiences that made him satisfied with the ADAS system on the VF 8.
In his journey, Mr. Phan Anh especially appreciated the Lane Assistance feature on the highway, calling it “excellent”. He explained that this feature helps the driver stay in the correct lane and maintain an appropriate speed when traveling on the highway.
“When ADAS is active on the highway, I feel less stressed, relaxed, and extremely safe. It is very easy to turn on and off the ADAS function, increase or decrease the speed by 1 or 5, and set the distance from the front car quickly and easily”, Mr. Phan Anh recounted.
The Traffic Jam Assist feature also provides him with interesting and convenient experiences. “When the road is congested, the car automatically follows the front car. When the front car stops, my car stops. When it’s necessary to move forward inch by inch, after being in a traffic jam for about 15-30 minutes, I can see the usefulness of this function”, the car owner shared.
During his cross-country journey, Mr. Phan Anh also had the opportunity to experience the traffic sign recognition feature on the VF 8 car. According to him, this feature is so sensitive that it makes him “confident not to receive traffic fines”.
According to many electric car owners, these features mentioned are experiences that can hardly be found in rival cars in the same segment, such as the Hyundai Santa Fe or Mazda CX-8. “ADAS is not unique to VinFast, but what is special is that the ADAS features on VinFast electric cars are fully equipped and function well, even in complex traffic conditions like in Vietnam”, a member of the VinFast community, Thien Nguyen, said.
He also shared his experience while driving on the Hanoi – Haiphong highway, some sections were dark and crowded, but the lane-keeping and adaptive cruise control features still functioned well, and the camera and sensors were very responsive. “The driving experience is safer and more enjoyable than driving my old gasoline car”, this customer admitted.
Electric cars are closer to customers than ever
Along with the safety and convenience technologies, many intelligent features on VinFast electric cars have also mesmerized many Vietnamese customers after a period of experience. Ms. Le Bach Duong (Hanoi), who recently completed a cross-country trip, had nothing but praise for the virtual assistant ViVi on the VF 9 car.

“Children really like interacting with ViVi, asking for daily updates, teasing the cute virtual assistant, and then listening to funny stories that bring laughter to the trip”, she recounted about the journey from Hanoi to Danang of her family of 6 people.
