In March 2024, Nissan continues to offer promotions for 3 of its models: Almera, Navara, and Kicks. However, the Nissan Almera has less benefit compared to before the Lunar New Year.
Specifically, the Nissan Almera now only receives a 50% reduction in registration fee instead of 100%. Currently, the Nissan Almera in Vietnam has 2 versions: CVT and CVT Premium with prices ranging from 539 to 595 million VND. The 50% reduction in registration fee is equivalent to a value of 27 to 30 million VND, depending on the version and registered province or city.
Meanwhile, both Nissan Navara and Kicks e-Power continue to receive a 100% reduction in registration fee like last month. In addition, the company also offers an additional 2 years of body insurance for customers who purchase these 2 models in March 2024.

Details of Nissan Vietnam’s promotion in March 2024
Nissan Navara has 3 versions: EL 2WD, VL 4WD, and PRO-4X with prices ranging from 699 to 970 million VND. With the company’s 100% reduction in registration fee, customers purchasing this pickup truck model can save from 70 to 97 million VND.
Meanwhile, the V version of Nissan Kicks e-Power has a price of 858 million VND. When purchasing this B-segment SUV in March 2024, customers will save 86 million VND. However, the dealerships are currently offering additional cash incentives for customers buying the Nissan Kicks e-Power. The total value of discounts for this B-segment SUV has reached a record of 200 million VND.
In Vietnam, Nissan currently only offers one version of Nissan Kicks e-Power, which is the top-end V version. Meanwhile, the standard E version has not been imported to Vietnam since the end of 2023. The official distributor of Nissan has not disclosed the specific reason for discontinuing the E version of Kicks e-Power.
Currently, all Nissan models in Vietnam are fully imported from Thailand and come with a 5-year official warranty. Since they are fully imported, the prices of Nissan cars in Vietnam are not really competitive. However, Nissan models have the advantage of fuel-efficient engines, with Kicks being the most prominent.
In particular, Nissan Kicks e-Power is equipped with a series hybrid drivetrain, including an electric motor, lithium-ion battery, inverter, gasoline engine, and generator. The electric motor of Nissan Kicks e-Power produces a maximum power of 136 horsepower and a peak torque of 280 Nm. The gasoline engine is a 3-cylinder, DOHC, 12-valve, 1.2L engine, producing a maximum power of 82 horsepower and a peak torque of 103 Nm.
The gasoline engine mentioned above does not function as a traditional driving source for the vehicle but serves as a generator to charge the battery. The electric motor is responsible for driving the vehicle. This hybrid drivetrain allows the Nissan Kicks e-Power to operate as an electric car without the need for charging and it is extremely fuel-efficient. The fuel consumption in urban areas for this B-segment SUV is only 2.2 liters per 100 km.
