Recently, rumors have been circulating among Chinese car user groups in Vietnam about the Hongqi HS5 model being imported from China and sold with a starting price of 780 million VND.
The HS5 model currently available in Vietnam is not the newest version recently introduced in China. These cars belong to the first edition that was launched in 2019.
The Hongqi HS5 has overall dimensions of 4,760 x 1,907 x 1,700 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,870 mm. In terms of size, this SUV is comparable to the Hyundai Santa Fe (4,785 x 1,900 x 1,730 mm, 2,765 mm) as well as the Kia Sorento (4,810 x 1,900 x 1,670 mm, 2,815 mm).
Similar to other Chinese car models, the Hongqi HS5 stands out with modern features such as an extended digital display from behind the steering wheel to the center, electronic parking brake, panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated seats, PM2.5 air filtration system…
In terms of power, the car is equipped with a turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder engine. This engine delivers 221 horsepower and a maximum torque of 340 Nm. The car features front-wheel drive and a 6-speed automatic transmission, along with 5 driving modes (Eco, Comfort, Sport, Offroad, Snow).
According to the dealer, the Hongqi HS5 is available in 3 versions: Basic, Comfortable, and Flagship, with prices of 780 million VND, 820 million VND, and 870 million VND, respectively. Currently, the official website of Hongqi Vietnam has not updated information about this model. The company only provides information about 2 models, H9 and E-HS9.
