Recently, a car enthusiast shared photos of two Ferrari supercars being transported to the residence of Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu in Ho Chi Minh City. According to Autodaily, these two cars were transferred from a well-known car enthusiast in Saigon to the coffee business tycoon.

The two cars include a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano and a Ferrari 360 Spider. The value of this deal has not been disclosed, but it is estimated that Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu had to spend at least 15 billion VND. In 2022, the Ferrari 599 GTB was previously sold on the used car market for less than 10 billion VND.
This Ferrari 599 GTB is one of only two units in Vietnam at the moment. The car was brought to the country in 2009 but didn’t change hands until 2016 when it was purchased by the coffee tycoon. In 2021, Mr. Vu sold it to a car dealership in Ho Chi Minh City.
The car’s exterior was originally painted in the iconic red color of the Italian prancing horse brand. When the founder of Trung Nguyen brand bought it, the paint was changed to white. The current owner has repainted it to the original color.
The Ferrari 599 GTB was introduced in 2006 with front-engine design. Its naturally aspirated V12 engine with a displacement of 6.0 liters produces 612 horsepower and 608 lb-ft of torque, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 330 km/h.
The Ferrari 360 Spider has a similar history to the 599 GTB as it was previously owned by Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu before being sold in August 2019. This is the convertible version of the 360 Modena. The car recently acquired by the coffee business tycoon is the second unit in Vietnam, following the first one owned by Cuong Do-la.
Currently, Trung Nguyen’s owner owns both 360 Spiders. Along with the Audi R8 and Lamborghini Gallardo, these cars have created a supercar trend in Vietnam in the early 21st century, associated with the name of businessman Nguyen Quoc Cuong for a long time. The vibrant red color of the car’s paint has remained the same after years of use.
Powering the Ferrari 360 Spider is a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V8 engine, producing 400 horsepower and 373 Nm of torque. The power is sent to the rear wheels, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 288 km/h.
In addition to these two Ferraris, Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu also owns many other models from the Italian brand, such as the 458 Italia/Spider, 488 GTB, 458 Speciale, 488 Pista Spider, F8 Spider, California, etc.
