When it comes to the most impressive car collection in the Western region, many people are amazed by the supercars, sports cars, and pickup trucks owned by Hoang Dung, a wealthy businessman specializing in famous “2-stroke” vehicles in Can Tho City.
Hoang Dung and his group of friends own a total of 7 different types of vehicles, ranging from pickup trucks like the Ford F-150, Ford Ranger, and Jeep, to sports cars like the Chevrolet Camaro, Lexus IS 250, Lexus LX 500h, and his first supercar, the Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4.
All the vehicles in this collection share the same purple color. Furthermore, the license plates of these cars are very attractive, with many having consecutive numbers or special pairings.
The highlight of Hoang Dung’s car collection is undoubtedly the Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4, which he bought for 9 billion VND. Originally, this supercar came in an orange color, but as soon as it arrived in his garage, it was immediately wrapped in purple.
The Huracan made its global debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show and was released in the market in the second quarter of 2014. The “LP 610-4” in its name refers to its 610 ps power output and 4-wheel drive system, while “LP” stands for “Longitudinale Posteriore,” indicating the mid-engine placement.
The Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine, producing a maximum power output of 601 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and a peak torque of 560 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
Combined with a 7-speed automatic transmission and a 4-wheel drive system, the Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds before reaching a top speed of 325 km/h.
Another standout vehicle in this collection is the Lexus LC 500h, which was previously sold for over 7 billion VND in 2022. It is known that there are less than 5 Lexus LC sports cars in Vietnam, and only one hybrid version has been recorded. The exterior of this unique Lexus LC 500h in Vietnam is white with chrome or black details, but when Hoang Dung bought it, he immediately wrapped it in purple.
Compared to the Lexus LC 500, the sports car owned by Hoang Dung in Can Tho has a significant visual difference. In particular, the Lexus LC 500h version features a Hybrid logo on the side of the car, indicating that it is a hybrid model.
Therefore, the Lexus LC 500h sports car utilizes a hybrid system consisting of a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine, an electric motor, and a CVT transmission. This hybrid system generates a total output of 354 horsepower, allowing the Lexus LC 500h to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250 km/h.
On the other hand, the Lexus LC 500 is equipped with a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 gasoline engine, 32 valves, providing a maximum power output of 471 horsepower at 7,100 rpm and a peak torque of 540 Nm at 4,800 rpm.
The power is sent to the rear wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission, allowing the Lexus LC 500 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds before reaching a top speed of 270 km/h. The hybrid version of the car boasts fuel efficiency, with the Lexus LC 500h consuming 9.05 liters/100 km in the city, 6.72 liters/100 km on the highway, and 7.84 liters/100 km combined, according to Lexus.
