On November 3, 2023, just a month after the unveiling of the McLaren Elva in Vietnam, car enthusiast Pham Tran Nhat Minh, also known as Minh “Plastic”, surprised everyone by sharing images of a fleet of colorful Lamborghini Revuelto hybrid supercars parked in front of an authorized dealership overseas, with the caption “Leave it there and admire it“.
And today, at noon on March 23, 2024, this tycoon no longer has to admire his dream supercar on screen. Instead, car enthusiast Minh “Plastic” had the opportunity to experience the Lamborghini Revuelto in person when the supercar made its appearance in Vietnam. “It’s more than fine, I love it, so what do I do now?” Minh “Plastic” shared about the first-ever Lamborghini supercar to feature a hybrid powertrain.
The price of the Lamborghini Revuelto in Vietnam will be over 50 billion VND, equal to the price of the convertible Ferrari SF90 Spider, of which 2 units have been imported into Vietnam. As the first commercial Lamborghini supercar equipped with a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain, the Revuelto has been gaining a lot of attention. Despite still using the V12 engine like its predecessors, the Revuelto is 17 kg lighter, while also generating more maximum power of 825 horsepower at 9,250 rpm, which is 125 horsepower higher than the Aventador.
Combined with the electric motor, the powertrain of the Lamborghini Revuelto supercar produces a total maximum output of up to 1,015 horsepower. This is the first commercial Lamborghini supercar with a maximum power output exceeding 1,000 horsepower.
These impressive numbers allow the Lamborghini Revuelto hybrid supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, from 0-200 km/h in less than 7 seconds, and reach a top speed of 350 km/h.
Compared to its sibling, the Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae, this new supercar accelerates faster but has a slightly lower top speed by 5 km/h. Even when compared to its rival, the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, the Lamborghini Revuelto, despite having a more powerful engine and higher power output, achieves an equivalent 0-100 km/h time. The Lamborghini Revuelto has a fuel consumption rate of only 11.86 liters/100 km, making it significantly more fuel-efficient than the Aventador, which consumes between 22 and 31 liters/100 km.
