Toyota Hilux Revo GR Sport 2024: A Closer Look at the Bangkok 2024 Exhibition

Let’s start with the drivetrain information, the new Hilux GR Sport Wide Tread is equipped with a 2.8L inline-4 turbodiesel engine, generating a maximum power of 224 horsepower at 3,400 rpm and a peak torque of 550 Nm from 1,600 rpm to 2,800 rpm.

Similar to the Hilux GR Sport for the Australian market, the version for the Thai market is also equipped with a widebody kit including wheel arch claddings, increasing the front track width by an additional 140mm and the rear track width by 155mm. The vehicle is equipped with 17-inch wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich AT 265/65 tires.

The upgraded suspension system for the Thai version of the Hilux Revo GR Sport helps increase ground clearance by 37 mm, combined with the reinforced single-tube shock absorbers supporting the separate frame. Other changes include: adjustable front coil springs, larger front sway bar, thicker front lower arm, additional welding points on the frame, rear disc brakes (instead of drum brakes in the previous version), and larger front disc brakes.

The standard equipment list for the 2024 Thai version of the Hilux Revo GR Sport includes LED bi-beam headlights, LED front fog lights, 360-degree camera system, 6-speaker audio system, 7 airbags, hill start assist, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking assist, blind spot monitor, and rear cross-traffic alert.

Inside the cabin, the equipment list for the Hilux Revo GR Sport includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, wireless charging, USB-C ports for the second-row seats, leather/suede seats, GR Sport branded steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, T-Connect system, etc.
