Customers can order the new Everest Platinum through Ford Vietnam’s online ordering system on the website www.ford.com.vn, with a retail price of 1,545,000,000 VND (including VAT). The car is expected to be delivered to Vietnamese customers from the beginning of May 2024. The first 100 customers who purchase the Everest Platinum will receive an e-travel card worth 10 million VND.
Compared to the Titanium version, the Ford Everest Platinum has completely changed both in appearance and interior. It is easy to recognize the grille cluster with a new design with high-class chrome mesh and the Platinum lettering in the middle of the bonnet.
The 20-inch alloy wheels – the largest equipment in the segment of the Everest Platinum with a new design, is prominent when moving.
At the rear of the car, the Ford Everest Platinum maintains a modern and sporty style with a cluster of taillights with eye-catching graphics connected together by a decorative strip with the version name engraved.
The cockpit area has many significant changes such as a high-class Maple wood grain dashboard, a series of 3D Platinum logos placed in refined positions, and diamond-patterned leather seats with quilted lumbar support combined with ventilation features and heating.
10-way power driver’s seat with 3 memory positions, 10-way power passenger seat, heated second-row seats and third-row seats that can be folded down to maximize the 876L cargo space (up to 1,796L when the second row is folded down), 12-speaker B&O, Zone Lighting.
In addition to the improvements, the Ford Everest Platinum retains familiar amenities such as LED matrix headlights, a 12-inch vertical touch entertainment screen with SYNC 4A connection, a 12.4-inch digital clock, an electronic gear lever, heated and ventilated seats, automatic 2-zone air conditioning, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging.
In terms of power, the Ford Everest Platinum still uses a 2.0L Bi-Turbo diesel engine combined with a 10-speed automatic transmission and a 4-wheel drive system producing a maximum capacity of 210 PS at 3,750 rpm and maximum torque of 500 Nm at 1,750 – 2,000 rpm. The car is equipped with a terrain control system with 6 driving modes.
The Platinum version has full driving support features: Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping Alert and Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Emergency Brake Assist When Encountering Obstacles (AEB), and Blind Spot Warning Combined With Cross Traffic (BLIS).
In addition, the car is reinforced using high-strength steel in more positions. The new Everest version is equipped with 7 airbags around the car (with driver’s knee airbag) and a seat belt reminder feature in all positions on the car.
Expected the Everest Platinum version will be officially distributed with four colors of brown, white, black and gray.
