List of Honda Vietnam’s recalled models

According to Honda Vietnam, the recall is due to a fuel pump issue. The affected vehicles may experience deformation of the fuel pump’s impeller, which can lead to pump failure and the risk of engine stall during operation.

Honda Vietnam stated that as of now, no safety incidents related to the fuel pump issue have been reported in the country. However, the company still recommends that customers promptly bring their vehicles to dealerships for inspection.

The recall program started on May 8, 2024. All affected car owners will be notified via mail, email, or telephone. Replacement parts will be installed once they are available. Honda Vietnam will bear the cost of inspecting and replacing the affected parts.

For imported vehicles not officially distributed by Honda Vietnam, the company will still assist in checking relevant information if customers bring their vehicles to authorized dealerships.
