The official Gumball 3000 Facebook page shared images and video clips of two supercars, the Ferrari SF90 Spider and 296 GTB, cruising through the streets of Ho Chi Minh City. One of the vehicles, the SF90 Spider, is owned by Vietnamese businessman Nguyễn Quốc Cường.

Mr. Cường also shared a photo of himself with Maximillion Cooper, the founder of the Gumball 3000 rally, along with an announcement that he is the first Vietnamese to register for the event.
This year’s Gumball 3000 rally kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City and will conclude in Singapore. Over six days, participants will travel through Cambodia, Thailand, and Malaysia, covering a total distance of approximately 3,000 km.
To join the rally, newcomers are expected to pay a substantial fee of £80,000 (around 2.5 billion VND). They also need to provide evidence of their involvement in car racing and sports car-related activities.
First held in 1999, Gumball 3000 is an annual event that changes its location each year. In 2024, the rally chose Southeast Asia as its destination, replacing the initial plan to be held in Egypt due to the military conflict in the Gaza Strip and the Red Sea region.

Gumball 3000 is considered the world’s largest supercar rally, attracting hundreds of supercars and covering thousands of kilometers. The event also features a range of side activities that combine supercars with film, music, and more. This year’s participants will culminate their journey by attending the F1 Singapore Grand Prix.
