Just three weeks ago, social media was abuzz with images of a rare Porsche 911 Dakar spotted at an emission check station in Hanoi. At the time, no one knew where the car was headed, but recently, an online user captured footage of the same Porsche 911 Dakar being transported on a rescue vehicle in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Porsche 911 Dakar is a limited-edition model, with only 2,500 units produced globally, and this is the fourth one to arrive in Vietnam. This particular car sports a light green exterior, similar to the second one in the country, except it lacks the numbered option on the doors. Rumors suggest that the owner of this Porsche 911 Dakar is a prominent car collector in Vietnam.

Local authorized dealers are currently distributing the limited-edition Porsche 911 Dakar, priced at VND 15.3 billion, excluding additional options and vehicle registration costs. All three of the previously imported cars already had owners waiting for them: two in Ho Chi Minh City and one in Hanoi.
One of the standout features of the Porsche 911 Dakar is its increased ground clearance, which is 50 mm higher than the standard model and can be further raised by 30 mm in High Level mode. This off-road setting, activated via a knob on the steering wheel, enables the car to navigate speed bumps and potholes without scraping the underside.
Powering the Porsche 911 Dakar is a 3.0-liter inline-six twin-turbo gasoline engine that delivers 473 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque.
This engine is paired with an 8-speed PDK automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, and rear-wheel steering, enabling the sports car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 240 km/h.
