The highly-anticipated Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Peformance has finally arrived in Vietnam. This powerful sedan is the most potent and expensive variant in the C-Class lineup.
Compared to the standard C-Class models, the C 63 S E Peformance boasts a longer wheelbase, extended width, and a sportier exterior design. Its dimensions stand at 4,842 mm in length, 1,490 mm in width, and 1,458 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,875 mm. That’s an increase of 83 mm in length, 76 mm in front width, and 10 mm in wheelbase compared to the regular C-Class.
Enhancing its performance-oriented nature, the C 63 S E Peformance is equipped with the AMG Carbon Package, featuring carbon fiber exterior trim, 20-inch AMG alloy wheels, and a high-performance AMG braking system with red brake calipers. It also includes rear-axle steering and an Airpanel aerodynamic control system with an automatically adjusting rear spoiler.
The interior features a striking AMG Performance steering wheel with carbon fiber and Microcut microsuede, as well as AMG Performance front seats upholstered in Nappa leather. The HUD display offers Race and Supersport modes, catering to the vehicle’s sporty character.
At the heart of the C 63 S E Peformance is a 2.0L engine, augmented by E Performance technology. This includes a rear-mounted electric motor producing 204 horsepower and a high-performance AMG battery with a capacity of 6.1 kWh. The vehicle can drive up to 15 kilometers on pure electric power, reaching speeds of up to 125 km/h. Combined, the engine and motor generate a staggering 680 horsepower and 1,020 Nm of torque, propelling the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds.
Drivers can select from eight driving modes, including Electric, Comfort, Battery Hold, Sport, Sport+, Race, Slippery, and Individual, to tailor their driving experience. The vehicle is also equipped with the AMG Driver’s Package, enabling a top speed of 280 km/h.
The Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Peformance is imported from Germany and priced in Vietnam from VND 4.9 billion. Deliveries are expected to begin in the second quarter of this year. Within the sports sedan segment, it competes directly with the BMW M3 Competition and Audi RS4, although neither of these rivals is currently available through official channels in Vietnam.
Prior to the introduction of the C 63 S E Peformance, Mercedes-Benz Vietnam offered the C 43 4MATIC, priced at VND 2.96 billion.
