Gumball 3000 is one of the world’s largest supercar rallies, and this year, in 2024, the most anticipated event for car enthusiasts globally will be held in ASEAN countries, including Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. Ho Chi Minh City will be the host for the opening ceremony on September 14 and 15, 2024. Currently, the supercars participating in the Gumball 3000 rally are being assembled and prepared for transportation to Vietnam.
Interestingly, one of the participants is Dan_Am_i, a mysterious billionaire and a well-known car enthusiast worldwide. He owns nearly 100 cars, including over 20 hypercars and megacars with unique specifications. Recently, he shared images of his Koenigsegg Regera, hinting at his participation in the event in Vietnam.
The Koenigsegg Regera is not an unfamiliar model to Vietnamese billionaires, as Hoang Kim Khanh also owns one with a Cambodian license plate. Globally, only 80 units of this car were produced, each with a starting price of $1.9 million.
In addition to the Koenigsegg Regera, Dan_Am_i also owns several hypercars with carbon fiber exteriors, such as the limited-edition Pagani Huayra BC (only 40 units), Lamborghini Centenario (only 20 units), Bugatti Chiron, and the one-of-a-kind Koenigsegg Agera Thor. He also has a McLaren Speedtail, Ferrari LaFerrari, several Pagani cars, and a McLaren Senna, among others.
The Koenigsegg Regera is a hybrid supercar powered by a V8, biturbo gasoline engine and three electric motors. This Swedish-made supercar boasts over 1,500 horsepower and delivers a mind-boggling 2,000 Nm of torque.
The Koenigsegg Regera owned by Hoang Kim Khanh can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 400 km/h. At speeds of 250 km/h, the car can generate downforce of up to 450 kg.
