Incentive program for Honda City in July 2024
Like other Honda-branded models, the City is quite expensive compared to its competitors in the same segment. If we don’t consider the Volkswagen Virtus, the City is the most expensive B-segment sedan in Vietnam. However, this does not affect the sales of this Honda model.
In May 2024, Honda sold 303 City units, a decrease of 25.2%. With this result, the Honda City ranked 4th in the segment, after the Hyundai Accent, Toyota Vios, and Mazda2. However, in terms of cumulative sales in the first five months of this year, this model ranked 3rd in the segment with 2,873 units sold.
In the B-segment sedan market, the Honda City is considered one of the models with the best driving feel. In addition, the Honda City also scores points for its reputable brand, eye-catching design, and spacious interior. Notably, it is also one of the few models in the segment that offers advanced ADAS safety features as standard.
The Honda City is powered by a 1.5L i-VTEC 4-cylinder DOHC gasoline engine that produces a maximum output of 119 horsepower and a peak torque of 145 Nm. The engine is paired with a continuously variable CVT transmission.
