The Lamborghini Aventador LP770-4 SVJ Roadster is an exclusive limited-edition supercar, with only 800 units produced globally—a scarce 100 less than its coupe counterpart. Of these, only three are known to cruise the streets of Vietnam, with just two bearing Vietnamese license plates and the remaining one sporting a Laotian registration.
Recently, the owner of one of these rare Lamborghini Aventador LP770-4 SVJ Roadsters announced their departure from the vehicle after putting it up for sale. While the new owner remains undisclosed, it is known that they are an extremely VIP individual with an impressive collection of supercars, residing not in Vietnam but in Laos.
This particular buyer stands out as a true enthusiast, with a collection that includes five supercars, a Porsche 911 sports car, and the luxurious Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV bearing a set of quad nines on its Laotian license plate. It is unknown at this time if they also possess any hypercars or megacars.
In contrast to the other two Lamborghini Aventador LP770-4 SVJ Roadsters in Vietnam, which were directly imported, this newly-sold limited-edition supercar was initially brought into Laos back in November 2020 and, naturally, bears Laotian plates.
Beyond its eye-catching green paint job, this Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster boasts numerous black and carbon fiber accents, with the SVJ logo on the rear wheel arches featuring a striking combination of black and red. The original owner of this vehicle was also a prominent figure from Danang, although they had primarily resided and worked in Laos for many years.
What sets this Lamborghini Aventador SVJ LP770-4 Roadster apart from its fixed-roof counterparts is its distinctive carbon fiber roof, which can be easily removed and installed by hand. The roof is divided into two separate sections, similar to the Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster found in Vietnam. Each section weighs approximately 6 kilograms, and when the driver desires an open-air experience, a simple press of a button located behind the seats initiates the roof’s retraction.
Once removed, the roof panels are stored in the front luggage compartment. Additionally, the engine cover has been redesigned, and a third window has been added behind the seats. These unique features further enhance the already impressive nature of this supercar.
Under the hood, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster is equipped with a powerful 6.5-liter V12 engine, delivering an impressive 759 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a seven-speed ISR gearbox and a four-wheel-drive system, enabling the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds—a mere 0.1 seconds slower than its coupe counterpart—and reach a top speed of 350 km/h. The acceleration from 0 to 200 km/h is achieved in an impressive 8.8 seconds.
