This July 2024, MG is offering attractive incentives on their vehicles, including the RX5. In addition to the manufacturer’s discounts, dealers are offering even lower prices on this SUV.
Specifically, a dealer in Hanoi is offering the MG RX5 STD trim at a significantly reduced price of 559 million VND (Vietnamese Dong). This is a substantial discount of 180 million VND from the listed price of 739 million VND. According to the dealership’s sales consultant, this particular vehicle was a customer order cancellation, hence the attractive price.
The MG RX5 is being offered at a highly competitive price by the dealer, undercutting even some B-segment SUVs.
Other dealers are also offering discounts on the MG RX5. The STD trim is being offered with a discount of 140 million VND, bringing the price down to 599 million VND. The higher-spec LUX trim receives an even more attractive discount of 180 million VND, reducing the price from 829 million VND to 649 million VND.
With these dealer discounts, the MG RX5 is now priced competitively against B-segment SUVs such as the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, and others. It is also the most affordable C-segment SUV currently available in Vietnam.
As mentioned earlier, MG is offering additional incentives on the RX5 for July 2024. Both the 2023 and 2024 models of the STD and LUX trims are eligible for free registration and two years of physical damage insurance, valued at 120 million VND.
In addition to the manufacturer’s incentives, dealers are offering further promotions to attract customers to the MG RX5.
The MG RX5 is a C-segment SUV that was first introduced in Vietnam in September 2023. Its standout feature is its sporty and distinctive exterior design. The SUV also boasts a comprehensive list of features, including LED lighting, 19-inch alloy wheels, an electric tailgate, leather upholstery, a steering wheel with paddle shifters, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.1-inch vertical touchscreen infotainment system, a sunroof, electronic parking brake, dual-zone automatic climate control, a six-speaker audio system, and wireless phone charging.
However, the safety features of the MG RX5 are relatively basic when compared to its competitors in the C-segment SUV category. It comes equipped with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, tire pressure monitoring system, anti-lock brakes (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), cornering brake control, brake assist (BA), electronic stability control, roll stability control, hill start assist, and hill descent control.
Powering the MG RX5 is a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 168 horsepower and 275 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch wet-type automatic transmission and delivers power to the front wheels.
