There has been much anticipation surrounding the launch of the new Hyundai Santa Fe in Vietnam, with dealership staff leaking information about its upcoming release. Dealerships have now started taking bookings for this highly anticipated mid-size SUV.
According to a sales consultant at a dealership, the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe will be officially launched in Vietnam around September or October this year. It is one of two new models that Hyundai is preparing to introduce to the Vietnamese market in the third quarter. The other model is expected to be the 2025 Hyundai Tucson.

While waiting for the new generation model to arrive, dealerships are offering discounts on the previous-generation Hyundai Santa Fe. As a result, the price of the previous-generation Hyundai Santa Fe has been reduced to a range of VND 979 million to VND 1.269 billion.
Additionally, dealerships are providing their own discounts on the mid-size SUV to clear out old inventory. Currently, some dealerships are offering a VND 50 million discount on the Hyundai Santa Fe.
The Hyundai Santa Fe is already a popular choice in the Vietnamese market, with strong sales figures. In the first half of this year, Vietnamese customers purchased a total of 2,119 units of the SUV, making it the second best-selling model in the mid-size SUV segment, only surpassed by the Ford Everest. With the introduction of the new generation, Hyundai Santa Fe is expected to further improve its sales performance.

When it arrives in Vietnam, the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe is expected to offer two engine options. The first is a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 281 horsepower and 422 Nm of torque. The second option is a hybrid powertrain, combining a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with electric motors to deliver a total output of 235 horsepower.
The 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe is 46 mm longer, 35 mm taller, and has a 48 mm longer wheelbase compared to its predecessor.
