In recent weeks, news about a Vietnamese tycoon nicknamed “Jacky” selling his collection of supercars and sports cars has sparked interest among car enthusiasts in the country. Specifically, he is offering two limited-edition Lamborghini Aventador LP770-4 SVJs, out of only 900 produced globally, along with an Aston Martin DB11 V8 luxury sports car.
Netizens have been curious as to why Jacky decided to sell these three expensive cars simultaneously. It has now been revealed that he has placed an order for the Lamborghini Revuelto, the brand’s first plug-in hybrid supercar. This sale is likely to make room for the arrival of this new hybrid supercar.
The exact specifications and options of Jacky’s Lamborghini Revuelto are not yet known, but it is understood that the car will cost him around 44 billion VND, excluding additional options and registration fees.
As a result, the total cost of this Lamborghini Revuelto is expected to exceed 53 billion VND. In the foreign market, the Lamborghini Revuelto is priced at over 13.5 billion VND, and in Thailand, it costs around 32.6 billion VND.
As Lamborghini’s first commercial plug-in hybrid (PHEV) supercar, the Revuelto has garnered significant attention. Despite sharing the same V12 engine as its predecessors, it is 17 kg lighter and produces a higher maximum output of 825 horsepower at 9,250 rpm—a substantial increase of 125 horsepower over the Aventador.
When combined with the electric motor, the Revuelto’s engine produces a total output of 1,015 horsepower, making it Lamborghini’s first commercial supercar to surpass the 1,000-horsepower mark. With these impressive specifications, the Lamborghini Revuelto LB744 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, reach 200 km/h in under 7 seconds, and attain a top speed of 350 km/h.
Compared to its predecessor, the Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae, the Revuelto accelerates faster but has a slightly lower top speed. Even when pitted against the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, the Revuelto, with its more powerful engine and higher horsepower, matches the Ferrari’s 0-100 km/h acceleration.
