Taking the initiative in traffic safety activities and aiming for “Zero traffic-related fatalities” by 2045 as set by the Government and “Zero fatalities involving Honda motorcycles and automobiles” by 2050 as envisioned by Honda globally, HVN and its network of nearly 800 Authorized Dealers and Service Centers have actively and synchronously implemented traffic safety promotion programs and training activities.
In the second quarter of 2024, HVN acknowledged the contributions of the Authorized Dealers in traffic safety training and especially honored those with the most active participation across the three regions of North, Central, and South Vietnam. The specifics are as follows:
In addition to maintaining activities such as providing Pre-Delivery Safety Advice (PDSA) and guiding customers through traffic scenarios using riding simulators (RT), the Authorized Dealers actively collaborated with local authorities to organize training programs on traffic safety knowledge and skills for students of all levels, youth union members, and local residents. With relentless efforts, over 1,740 traffic safety programs were conducted in the second quarter of 2024, benefiting more than 199,000 participants nationwide.
The achievements not only demonstrate the tremendous efforts but also reflect the commitment of each Authorized Dealer in raising local residents’ awareness of traffic safety, fostering a culture of safe road use, and ultimately reducing traffic accidents throughout the country.
