On July 29, at Toyota Tu Son dealership, Toyota Vietnam, in collaboration with its dealer network, held the final round of the 2024 Toyota Skills Competition. This was the first time that all seven categories from both the sales and service fields were fully represented.

The 2024 Toyota Skills Competition final marked the 23rd edition of the event since its inception in 1999. This competition is designed for sales and service staff from Toyota dealerships nationwide. The final round witnessed the participation of 73 outstanding employees who excelled in the qualifying round held in May.

According to a TMV representative, this was the first time the competition was held with all seven different categories, including: sales, service advisors, customer care, parts, general repairs, body repairs, and paint repairs. Under the theme “Dedicated and Professional,” the competition not only tested the participants’ knowledge but also their deep expertise, serious work attitude, and responsibility, aiming towards the sustainable development and long-term success of the brand.

At the event, Mr. Nakano Keita, CEO of Toyota Vietnam, shared: “We deeply understand that only a well-trained and professional workforce can implement the right processes for Toyota’s standard sales and services, and the skills competition is a great opportunity to enhance not only technical skills but also valuable customer care experience for Toyota employees.”

This event is considered one of the significant activities leading up to the 30th anniversary of Toyota’s presence in Vietnam. With a network of 87 dealerships and authorized service stations across 49 provinces and cities nationwide, Toyota is a pioneer in the scale of its sales and genuine automotive service system.
