VinFast Unveils the VF 8 Lux: An Upgraded, Luxurious Electric Vehicle
On July 15, 2024, VinFast proudly introduced the VF 8 Lux, an enhanced version of its VF 8 electric vehicle line, boasting a sophisticated, elegant design and superior technology.
VinFast also announced its intention to support users in “Upgrading their Class” by offering an attractive upgrade policy from the VF 8 to the VF 8 Lux, with optimized costs and exclusive benefits for early depositors.
The first standout feature of the VinFast VF 8 Lux is its striking visual appeal. The roof and body are designed with a two-tone color scheme, offering 10 elevated color choices that exude sophistication and uniqueness. Coupled with sharply designed alloy wheels, the VF 8 Lux exudes class and elegance at first glance.
The second notable upgrade is the revolution in user experience. Equipped with a voice-controlled virtual assistant integrated with Generative AI technology, the VF 8 Lux is among the first commercial vehicles in the world to apply this innovative feature, making conversations between the car and its passengers smarter and more human-like.
Specifically, the VinFast virtual assistant on the VF 8 Lux can proactively search and collate information available on the Internet to provide contextually relevant answers and delightful surprises for users. Moreover, the Generative AI technology enables the virtual assistant to self-learn and continuously update its knowledge, becoming increasingly intelligent over time.
In addition to these prominent upgrades, the VF 8 Lux continues to deliver a safe and relaxing driving experience with a host of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and the intelligent VF Connect service package.
The VinFast VF 8 Lux offers two options: the standard version and the Plus version. The standard VF 8 Lux is equipped with a 350-horsepower electric motor, capable of traveling up to 471 kilometers on a single charge, while the VF 8 Lux Plus boasts an impressive 402 horsepower and a range of 457 kilometers per full charge. The VF 8 Lux Plus already includes the VinFast virtual assistant with Generative AI, while the standard VF 8 Lux will receive this feature in the future through a software update.
Positioned as a “Class Upgrade” vehicle, targeting individual and family customers, VinFast offers special sales policies and benefits for the VF 8 Lux. Customers who place a deposit for the VF 8 Lux in July will enjoy free charging at V-GREEN public charging stations for two years and a guaranteed vehicle repurchase value of up to 90% of the original price, in addition to common benefits such as free parking for up to five hours and prioritized parking at Vingroup facilities. All current VF 8 owners will also be supported with an attractive trade-in offer, with their old vehicles valued at up to 93% of the original price.

The VF 8S shares the same powerful motor and driving range as the VF 8 Lux, along with optimized equipment for business services. The price for the VF 8S is set at 1,079,000,000 VND for the battery leasing option and 1,289,000,000 VND for the battery purchase option.
The VF 8 Lux is priced at 1,170,000,000 VND for the battery leasing option and 1,380,000,000 VND for the battery purchase option. The VF 8 Lux Plus is priced at 1,359,000,000 VND for battery leasing and 1,569,000,000 VND for battery purchase. The vehicles will be officially available for purchase nationwide from 8:00 AM on July 16, 2024.
