Xiaomi Unveils the SU7 Ultra: An All-Carbon Fiber Electric Supercar
Xiaomi Auto has recently introduced its new all-carbon fiber electric supercar, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra.
The SU7 Ultra is also the first vehicle to be equipped with the new HyperEngine V8 system, developed by Xiaomi themselves.
With dimensions of 5,260 x 2,064 x 1,406 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 3,000 mm, the SU7 Ultra is significantly wider and longer than the standard SU7 version while maintaining the same wheelbase.
The SU7 Ultra stands out with its aggressive, sporty exterior design, a notable departure from the standard SU7.
It features a massive carbon fiber rear wing that generates downforce of up to 2,145 kg. The vehicle’s design has been fine-tuned for improved aerodynamics, including the addition of two large vents at the front and an extended front splitter.
Under the hood, the SU7 Ultra is powered by two V8s and one V6s engine, all developed by Xiaomi. This setup delivers a combined maximum output of 1,548 horsepower.
With this powerful drivetrain, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.97 seconds and reach a top speed of 300 km/h.
The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra will be offered in three variants: standard, Pro, and Max. The base model is equipped with a 73.6 kWh BYD Blade battery, producing 299 horsepower. The Pro version features a 94.3 kWh CATL Shenxing battery, while the Max variant boasts a 101 kWh CATL Qilin battery that delivers 673 horsepower.
Xiaomi has not yet disclosed the pricing or release date for the commercial version of the SU7 Ultra. The images released by the company are also of a prototype, so some changes to the exterior and specifications may occur before the final production model is released.
