MG Unveils the All-New HS SUV at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK

MG HS is positioned as a C-sized CUV, with dimensions of 4,655 x 1,890 mm in length and width, respectively, and a wheelbase that has been extended by 45 mm compared to its predecessor.

The new-generation MG HS features a larger grille and air intakes, along with sharp new LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights.

The rear of the vehicle remains identical to the Roewe RX5, except for the addition of a rear spoiler.

In terms of interior, the MG HS offers a 5-seat configuration and comes loaded with a host of convenient features, including a 12.3-inch dual-screen setup and a new ‘shuttle-style’ gear selector on the center console.

Depending on the trim level, the MG HS 2025 can be equipped with wireless phone charging, an 8-speaker audio system, a 360-degree camera, and the MG Pilot ADAS package.

The MG HS 2025 is offered with two powertrain options: a plug-in hybrid and a gasoline engine.

The first is a PHEV system that combines a 1.5L engine producing 141 horsepower with an electric motor generating 207 horsepower. This setup enables the MG HS to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. Notably, the larger 24.7 kWh battery provides an impressive 121 km of pure electric range.

The second option is a 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine, delivering a maximum output of 168 horsepower and 275 Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, along with front-wheel drive.

Introduced in the UK market, the MG HS 2025 with the internal combustion engine starts at $32,187 (818.2 million VND), while the PHEV version is priced from $40,557 (1.031 billion VND).
