A recent offer from a Hanoi-based dealer has advertised the Nissan Almera with discounts of up to 116 million VND.

Specifically, customers purchasing the Almera CVT version are eligible for a discount of approximately 107 million VND. Meanwhile, the high-end CVT variant is offered with a 116 million VND discount, bringing the post-promotion price to a range of 432-479 million VND.

Prices may vary slightly depending on the chosen color scheme. For instance, the Almera CVT in black, red, or orange is offered at 432 million VND, while other color options are priced at 462 million VND post-discount. As for the high-end CVT variant, the black and orange color schemes are available for 479 million VND, with the remaining colors receiving a 110 million VND discount, resulting in a price of 485 million VND.

With these discounts, the Nissan Almera’s price is now on par with high-end models of A-segment cars such as the i10 (455 million VND) and Morning (424 million VND). Despite the significant discounts, the Nissan Almera still faces an uphill battle when competing with segment rivals like the Vios and Accent.

The Nissan Almera was first introduced to the Vietnamese market in August 2021 and received an equipment upgrade in June 2022. This sedan boasts overall dimensions of 4,495 x 1,740 x 1,460 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,620 mm.

Inside the cabin, the Almera is equipped with essential features such as an 8-inch touchscreen, a 6-speaker audio system, push-button start, leather seats, air conditioning with rear vents, and Android Auto connectivity. Additionally, it offers automatic folding mirrors, a frameless center rearview mirror, and automatic headlights.

Under the hood, the Japanese sedan is powered by a turbocharged 1.0L 3-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 98.6 hp at 5,000 rpm and 152 Nm of torque between 2,400 and 4,000 rpm. This engine is paired with a CVT transmission and front-wheel drive.

In terms of safety, the Nissan Almera is equipped with driver-assistance features such as ABS, EBD, BA, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, a 360-degree camera, moving object detection, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.

Recently, several dealerships have started accepting reservations for the 2024 Nissan Almera, which is expected to arrive in Vietnam in August or September this year.

Previously, in June, three new Nissan Almeras were spotted at an emissions testing center in Hanoi. These are likely the three variants that will be launched in Vietnam.

The 2024 Nissan Almera will continue to be imported from Thailand and has undergone a significant mid-life cycle upgrade, particularly in terms of its design, with the front grille receiving noticeable changes.
