On July 1st, Vingroup’s Chairman, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, announced the establishment of For Green Future Joint Stock Commercial and Service Company (FGF), specializing in the field of buying and leasing electric vehicles.

FGF’s mission is to increase access to electric vehicles for the general public, accelerate the green transition, and contribute to the government’s Net Zero pledge by 2050.

The company has a charter capital of VND 200 billion, with Chairman Pham Nhat Vuong holding 90% of the shares. FGF operates in the field of buying and selling VinFast electric cars and leasing self-driving electric cars.

The company aims to become a platform that develops the used electric car market, providing peace of mind to VinFast car owners regarding resale value. Through FGF, consumers can gain better access to and transition to electric vehicles at competitive prices and assured quality, thus accelerating the green transition nationwide.

In addition to the scope of buying and selling used cars, FGF also provides self-driving electric car leasing services (for both new and used cars) to organizations and individuals at reasonable costs. This not only enhances the driving experience and smart features but also helps customers optimize their daily operating and mobility costs, making it easier to decide to own environmentally friendly green transportation.

In the initial phase, FGF plans to have 1,000 to 2,000 self-driving rental cars, including all VinFast models, operating in major cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, and Hue. After official operations commence, the fleet size will continue to expand, eventually covering the entire country.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh, CEO of FGF, shared: “True to its name, FGF is born to provide green solutions for everyone. Through FGF, consumers can access, own, and use electric vehicles quickly and conveniently at optimal costs. FGF aspires to be one of the driving forces accelerating the green transition for a clean and sustainable future for generations to come.”
