Ly Thuy Trang, the wife of popular Vietnamese actor Chi Bao, recently shared on her Facebook page photos of her taking delivery of two Mercedes-Benz vehicles at the Mercedes-Benz showroom in Ho Chi Minh City. The female entrepreneur revealed that these were gifts from her husband to celebrate her birthday and the upcoming arrival of their baby.

The first car is a Mercedes-Maybach GLS 480 4MATIC in a stunning black emerald green shade, with a listed price of nearly VND 8.8 billion.

The front of the car features a prominent Mercedes-Benz logo, sitting above a striking grille with vertical slats that give the SUV a wider stance. The front bumper, finished in chrome, contrasts beautifully with the body color.

The interior of this SUV features a two-tone white and brown color scheme. Unlike the standard GLS 480 with seven seats, the Maybach GLS 480 offers a more exclusive four-seat configuration with a 2:2 layout, complemented by removable tablets in the rear.

Under the hood, the Maybach GLS 480 is powered by a turbocharged 3.0L six-cylinder engine, producing 367 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels through a 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission.

The second car is the eye-catching Mercedes AMG SL 43 in yellow, with a starting price of VND 6.959 billion. This model was launched in the Vietnamese market in November 2023 as a replacement for the Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster.

Unlike the Maybach GLS 480, the AMG SL 43 is a sporty roadster from the renowned SL lineage. Its front end features distinctive hook-shaped daytime running lights and an AMG-specific grille design.

A key feature of this roadster is its soft-top convertible roof, which takes around 15 seconds to open or close. The cabin is slightly set back compared to the previous generation, and the seating configuration remains true to the 2+2 layout typical of roadsters.

Powering the AMG SL 43 is a 2.0L four-cylinder turbocharged engine, delivering an impressive 381 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque. The rear-wheel-drive roadster is equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
