A rare BMW 535i in Vietnam gets an eye-catching upgrade.
The BMW F10 generation in Vietnam is predominantly made up of the 520i, 525i, and 528i models, while higher-end variants like the 535i and 545i are scarce, with only a handful of units available. Even the most powerful M5 model has a limited presence, with just one unit in the country.
This particular BMW 535i featured in the article is one of the rare few in the country, with less than five units currently available. However, the owner has modified it with essential yet intricate upgrades while retaining its original charm.
One of the most notable modifications is the air suspension system, which allows the car to lower itself close to the ground for a sleek look and raise when necessary. This suspension setup alone cost the owner nearly a hundred million VND. The car also sports a set of high-end Work-Gnosis 20-inch wheels and performance brakes from Rotora, enhancing both style and performance.
In terms of body modifications, the owner added a carbon fiber lip kit to the front, rear, and sides, complementing the original M-Sport body. The carbon fiber additions give the car a more aggressive and modern look without altering its classic BMW aesthetics.
The owner didn’t stop at exterior modifications; they also upgraded the engine for enhanced performance. Additionally, the exhaust system was modified to match the increased power and deliver a more authoritative sound.
The BMW 535i is equipped with a 3.0L I6 engine that delivers an impressive 306 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 300 Nm of torque at 1,200 rpm. This engine is also found in the renowned BMW M2, but it has been fine-tuned for even better performance in the 535i.
