In a recent revelation, Ferrari’s CEO, Benedetto Vigna, shared exciting details about the brand’s first-ever electric vehicle.
According to Vigna, the design of the Ferrari EV (codenamed F244) will undoubtedly appeal to tech-savvy automotive enthusiasts.
He emphasized that Ferrari buyers are attracted to the brand not because of a single factor but a combination of strengths, and this new electric model will embody that philosophy.
The Ferrari EV prototype has been spotted undergoing road tests recently. It is understood that the test mule will utilize the body shell of the Maserati Levante. Notably, the vehicle will not employ the conventional electric LFP battery structure used by Tesla and BYD.
Ferrari EV will be one of the first models to be produced and assembled in the newly inaugurated Ferrari e-building complex in Maranello, Italy.
The Ferrari F244/F245 is expected to be unveiled in Q4 2025, with an estimated price tag of up to $500,000.
