The new Suzuki XL7 Hybrid is set to enter the Vietnamese market in the second half of this year. The vehicle has received an engine upgrade and is equipped with modern features.
According to dealership information, Suzuki will launch the new XL7 Hybrid in July or August this year. Car consultants inform prospective buyers that they can place orders starting today to be among the first to receive the vehicle. There is no precise information yet on the expected price of the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid. Some dealerships speculate that the new model’s price will increase slightly compared to its predecessor, while others predict the price will remain unchanged.
The upcoming Suzuki XL7 Hybrid 2025 in Vietnam will feature significant upgrades to enhance its competitiveness against strong rivals in the segment, such as the Mitsubishi Xpander, Toyota Veloz, and Hyundai Stargazer X. Among these upgrades is the highly anticipated Cruise Control feature. Additionally, the vehicle will be equipped with automatic headlights and power-folding mirrors.
In terms of design, the new XL7 Hybrid features chrome accents on the front grille and rearview mirrors. The exterior color palette has been expanded with new options and two-tone color schemes. For the two-tone versions, the roof and side mirrors will be painted black, while the chrome details and rims retain a bright finish.
Suzuki XL7 Hybrid is likely to be powered by a new engine with a configuration similar to the Ertiga. This powertrain includes a 1.5L gasoline engine producing 103 horsepower and 138 Nm of torque, coupled with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery for improved acceleration and fuel efficiency.
With a host of new features, the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid is expected to outperform its rivals and reclaim its position at the top of the segment. A few years ago, the Suzuki MPV consistently ranked among the top three in its class. However, in recent times, its sales have declined significantly due to the emergence of numerous new models. In May, the XL7’s sales figures placed it last in its segment, with only 15 units sold.
