The AION Y Plus in Vietnam is expected to be equipped with a 63.2kWh LFP battery pack, featuring GAC AION’s exclusive magazine battery technology. This setup delivers an impressive 204 horsepower and 225 Nm of torque. The Y Plus offers a standard range of 490km and boasts the highest global standards in fire and explosion prevention, even against the impact of projectiles. With 800,000 vehicles sold, there have been no reported cases of spontaneous combustion. The vehicle can be charged using a standard 6.6kW AC charger at home or a fast DC charger with a maximum output of 80kW.
