The Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance is the most powerful variant of the C-Class sedan range, and it was showcased at the brand’s Star Drive test drive event.

Recently, Mercedes-Benz brought the first AMG C 63 S E Performance to Vietnam, offering customers a closer look at the vehicle during the Star Drive test drive event held in Van Phuc Urban Area, Ho Chi Minh City, on June 22.

According to Mercedes-Benz Vietnam, the AMG C 63 S E Performance will be available for purchase from the middle of this year. This limited-edition model is imported from Germany and priced from VND 4.9 billion.

On the exterior, the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance boasts the AMG Carbon Package, featuring a carbon fiber rear wing, 20-inch black gloss multi-spoke alloy wheels, and carbon fiber exterior mirrors.

The Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance is the most powerful and expensive variant of the C-Class sedan range. It is equipped with a PHEV powertrain, combining a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor at the rear, drawing power from a 6.1 kWh battery pack. This setup delivers an impressive 680 horsepower and 1,020 Nm of torque. Coupled with a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 280 km/h.

In pure electric mode, the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance can travel up to 15 kilometers with a maximum speed of 125 km/h.

The AMG C 63 S E Performance incorporates technologies derived from the Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 team. Its M139 engine is currently the most powerful four-cylinder engine in the world, handcrafted in Germany by the AMG performance division.
