The British automotive brand has unveiled the 2025 Mini Cooper with a new five-door configuration, offering a more spacious and airy cabin experience.
With the addition of two extra doors, the wheelbase has been extended by 71 mm, resulting in an overall length increase of nearly 180 mm. The luggage compartment volume has also been increased to 923 liters when the rear seats are folded down.
The design of the Mini Cooper 2025 five-door remains largely similar to its three-door counterpart, with some distinctive features.
The front of the car boasts a large grille and signature round LED headlights, complemented by LED daytime running lights that wrap around the outer edges. At the rear, the LED taillights are designed in a Union Jack-inspired pattern, paying homage to the brand’s British heritage.
Inside, the Mini Cooper five-door cabin maintains a minimalist yet impressive aesthetic. It features a 9.4-inch round OLED central infotainment screen that integrates the instrument cluster and climate control system. This screen runs on the Mini 9 operating system, based on Android, and supports voice control.
The car is equipped with the Parking Assistant Plus system, which includes four external cameras and twelve ultrasonic sensors, aiding drivers in maneuvering the Mini in tight spaces.
Under the hood, the Mini Cooper five-door offers the same two engine options as the three-door model. The Cooper C comes with a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that produces 154 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the Cooper S features a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, generating 201 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque.
The Mini Cooper five-door can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8 seconds for the standard model and 6.8 seconds for the S variant.
The 2025 Mini Cooper five-door is currently available for sale in Europe, with pricing details yet to be announced.
