The upcoming generation of the Hyundai Palisade promises a host of improvements, including a more squared-off design inspired by the new Santa Fe. With enhanced features, added convenience, and a hybrid engine option, it’s poised to be a formidable contender in the full-size SUV segment.

Hyundai Palisade 2026 – with the code name LX3, is set to build upon the success of its predecessors, offering a fresh yet familiar design. This large SUV was spotted undergoing testing on the streets of South Korea, giving graphic artists a glimpse into its future design. NYMammoth, a South Korean graphic designer with a reputation for creating renderings of Hyundai and Kia models, has provided an early look at what the 2026 Palisade might look like.

NYMammoth’s rendering showcases a bold, angular design for the Palisade, drawing inspiration from the new Hyundai Santa Fe. The front of the vehicle features a prominent grille and sharp LED headlights. The rear combines sleek, elongated LED taillights with a rugged, angular design.

There are also rumors that the 2026 Palisade will be built on a new platform with a longer wheelbase, aiming to provide more spacious interiors. This change positions the Palisade to better compete with rivals such as the Honda Pilot and Toyota Grand Highlander. Hyundai’s confident use of their new logo on the prototype’s wheel design further underscores their belief in the potential of this vehicle.

At the 2023 Los Angeles Auto Show, Hyundai offered a sneak peek at the Palisade’s upgraded powertrains. There will be two new engine options: a 2.5L hybrid system and a 3.5L turbocharged V6 engine, replacing the current 3.8L engine. This shift demonstrates Hyundai’s commitment to combining powerful performance with environmental responsibility.

While the current Palisade lineup offers various gasoline engine choices, the 2026 model introduces a hybrid variant, reflecting Hyundai’s strategic shift towards sustainable mobility. This new model isn’t just an upgrade in terms of power; it’s a statement about Hyundai’s vision for the future of family transportation.
