Vietnamese entrepreneur Pham Tran Nhat Minh, popularly known as Minh Nhua, recently took delivery of the luxurious Rolls-Royce Spectre, sparking excitement among automotive enthusiasts in Vietnam.

This is reportedly the first Spectre to arrive in the country. Minh Nhua, a prominent businessman, had to wait around six months to get his hands on this ultra-luxury electric vehicle.

The Rolls-Royce Spectre was announced for sale in Vietnam back in January, with a price tag of nearly VND 18 billion.

Spectre is a groundbreaking model, marking the first electric car in the 120-year history of the iconic British luxury brand. Its design draws inspiration from the Wraith and Phantom, but with a wider and lower stance, resulting in a more athletic appearance.

The front of the car is characterized by its distinctive waterfall grille, featuring vertical slats that are synonymous with the Rolls-Royce brand. At night, the grille is subtly illuminated by 22 LEDs, which are sandblasted into the rear of the cooling vanes. The gentle light reflects off the polished surfaces at the front, creating a refined and three-dimensional effect.

Perched atop the grille is the iconic “Spirit of Ecstasy” figurine, a staple of the Rolls-Royce brand. For the Spectre, this emblem has been slightly modified to give the car a sportier profile.

The lighting system features a two-tier design, with a slim LED daytime running light strip on top and the main headlights positioned deeper within the lower housing. Additionally, the Spectre boasts a large central air intake with horizontal slats on the front bumper.

This electric coupe is fitted with 23-inch alloy wheels—the largest ever offered on a Rolls-Royce in the last century. These wheels are aerodynamically optimized, contributing to a drag coefficient of just 0.25 Cd, making it the most aerodynamic Rolls-Royce to date.

At the rear, the Spectre showcases a unique vertical LED taillight design, accented by silver-colored details.

Step inside the Spectre, and you’ll find a host of modern amenities, including a 3-spoke steering wheel with integrated controls, a digital instrument cluster seamlessly blended with a central touchscreen, leather upholstery, and a digital display for the front passenger, all while maintaining the quintessential opulence associated with the Rolls-Royce marque, without betraying its electric nature.

One of the most striking features within the cabin is the LED starry sky lighting system, now extended to the dashboard and door trim.

Minh Nhua’s Spectre features a personalized interior dominated by white, complemented by accents of sky blue on the seats and door panels, creating a unique and elegant ambiance.

Under the hood, the Rolls-Royce Spectre is powered by an electric motor that delivers a maximum output of 430 kW (approximately 576 horsepower) and a peak torque of 900 Nm. This enables the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. According to the CLTC test cycle in China, the Spectre offers a range of 585 kilometers on a single charge, while the EPA cycle in the US rates it at 515 kilometers.

The Spectre also benefits from fast-charging technology, capable of recharging the battery from 10% to 80% in just 34 minutes using a 195 kW DC charger. For those in a hurry, a quick 9-minute charge will provide enough juice for 100 kilometers of driving.
