According to some sources, the Japanese automaker is finalizing the last details before unveiling the new Suzuki Swift Sport in September. The car is currently undergoing testing at Suzuki’s track in Japan.

Suzuki previously revealed that the Swift Sport is expected to weigh 970 kg, 70 kg lighter than its predecessor due to a refined engine system. As a result, the new Swift Sport will have an improved power-to-weight ratio.

The 2025 Suzuki Swift Sport will have slightly larger dimensions than the previous model, measuring 3,990 x 1,750 x 1,500 mm in length, width, and height, respectively.

While it will share the same platform as the standard Swift, the Swift Sport will feature a distinct powertrain. Rumors suggest it will be equipped with a hybrid system, combining a turbocharged 1.4L gasoline engine with an electric motor. The new model is expected to offer a 16% improvement in fuel efficiency and a 15% reduction in emissions.

The Suzuki Swift Sport is anticipated to have a starting price of 2.3 million yen (approximately 387.7 million VND). This price is slightly higher than the predecessor’s price of 2.16 million yen (around 364 million VND) in the Japanese market.
