The Pagani Utopia Roadster won’t be the only Italian supercar making its debut at the upcoming Monterey Car Week. In fact, it might be overshadowed by another car that debuted over a decade ago but is only now making its first public appearance. This special Zonda, known as the Arrivederci, will also be unveiled during the festivities.
The aforementioned Zonda, with the chassis number 140, making it the last new Zonda assembled, was acquired by American entrepreneur and car collector Kris Singh last year but has been kept hidden from public view until now.
Thankfully, newly released photos give us a glimpse of what the car looks like. The body of the Pagani Zonda Arrivederci shares many similarities with other 760 line models, but it includes several unique custom elements, making it perhaps the most interesting Zonda since the Pagani Zonda Revolucion.
Much of the body is finished in a special exposed carbon fiber with a stunning silver finish. These elements contrast with the deep blue carbon fiber accents found on the front fenders, door sills, hood, headlight surrounds, roof scoop, shark fin, and massive rear wing.
Pagani Zonda Revolucion – a track-only variant of the Zonda
Speaking of the rear wing, the Zonda Arrivederci sports a unique wing unlike any other produced by Pagani, taking inspiration from the wing of the one-off Zonda JC. It boasts specially designed end plates and sits noticeably higher than the wings of most Zondas.
Other impressive exterior details of the Pagani Zonda Arrivederci include light blue and red accents, custom badges, and silver-finished taillight surrounds. It also features carbon-ceramic brakes with bright red calipers.
The interior of the Zonda Arrivederci, commissioned by the American collector, features extensive use of carbon fiber, red leather, and wood accents on the steering wheel.
Little is known about the car’s powertrain, but it is believed that the Pagani Zonda Arrivederci shares the same naturally aspirated 7.3-liter V12 engine as the other Zonda 760 models, producing 760 horsepower.
