Toyota Unveils Official Armor Packages for Corolla Altis, Corolla Cross, Hilux, and SW4 (Fortuner)

Toyota has recently introduced an exciting new range of official armor packages for four of its popular models: the Corolla Altis, Corolla Cross, Hilux, and SW4 (Fortuner). In a collaboration with specialized armored vehicle companies such as Avallon, Carbon, Evolution Blindagens, and Parvi Blindados, Toyota now offers enhanced protection options for its customers.

These armor packages include reinforced vehicle bodies, constructed with specialized compounds, and thicker windows. This ensures maximum safety for occupants in the unfortunate event of an attack. The armor is designed to withstand gunfire from small arms and protect against other weapons such as metal pipes or bats.

While Toyota has not yet disclosed the pricing for these armor packages, customers can rest assured knowing that the installation of the ballistic protection comes with a 5-year warranty. Additionally, the materials used are warranted for either 5 or 10 years, depending on the specific components.

The introduction of these armor packages by Toyota is a direct response to the rising homicide rates in Brazil. In 2023 alone, there were a staggering 39,500 reported cases of homicide in the country.
