Archimedes Defense Unveils Off-Road, Ballistic Armor Body Kit for Tesla Cybertruck

The Tesla Cybertruck is one of the most uniquely styled vehicles in the world. Despite its controversial looks, the all-electric pickup truck has garnered a lot of interest, with many people willing to spend a fortune to own one. The Cybertruck’s aftermarket is also considered very promising. Recently, Archimedes Defense, a company specializing in military equipment, has collaborated with automotive accessory manufacturer Up.Fit to launch a dedicated collection of accessories for this vehicle.

According to Archimedes, the collection includes three body kit packages, each designed for different purposes. The Sting Baja package features an 800V generator derived from aerospace AMP Drive G125TM, mounted on the vehicle’s body and capable of running on jet fuel, diesel, or biodiesel. The company states that having an onboard generator is essential for the Tesla to operate in all terrain conditions. This package also includes a range of accessories to enhance its off-road capabilities.

The second body kit, named Sting Protector, is designed for government military use or individuals living in high-risk areas. The highlight of this package is the ballistic armor, capable of withstanding rounds from assault rifles.

The most premium package, Sting APC, builds upon the Protector but adds a mine detection system. Its steel armor is designed to protect occupants even against heavy machine guns. This version is intended for extremely dangerous environments, such as battlefields, and comes with a hefty price tag.

Even without these military-style body kits, the Cybertruck already offers ballistic protection thanks to its stainless steel exterior. Its boxy design was inspired by the car-turned-submarine featured in the 1977 James Bond film, “The Spy Who Loved Me.”

Inside the cabin, the Tesla Cybertruck features a minimalist interior with a 15-inch central touchscreen, a 9.4-inch rear entertainment screen for passengers, and a panoramic glass roof.

Other features include a square three-spoke steering wheel, a 15-speaker audio system with an amplifier, 120/240V outlets, two wireless phone charging pads, USB-C connections, air conditioning with air filtration, and a glass roof.

In the US market, the Cybertruck AWD (dual-motor version) starts at $79,990 (approximately 1.9 billion VND), while the tri-motor version is priced at $99,990 (around 2.43 billion VND).
