The Mercedes-Maybach S 680 Edition Nordic Glow: An Exclusive Luxury Sedan Inspired by the Northern Lights

At the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance during Monterey Car Week 2024 in the US, Mercedes-Benz unveiled the limited-edition Maybach S 680 Edition Nordic Glow. This ultra-luxurious sedan is limited to just 50 units and is exclusively available to customers in the American market.

True to its name, the design of the Maybach S 680 Edition Nordic Glow draws inspiration from the awe-inspiring Northern Lights phenomenon visible near the Arctic Circle. This ultra-luxurious sedan features a striking two-tone exterior, combining Moonlight White and Northern Lights Violet. The 21-inch wheels feature a delicate champagne glass-inspired spoke design, adding to the vehicle’s elegant aesthetic.

Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with the Maybach Series Design exterior upgrade package, featuring Dark Chrome accents that further enhance its sophisticated appearance.

The interior of the Mercedes-Maybach S 680 Edition Nordic Glow exudes power and opulence, featuring Rose Grey Nappa leather trim with contrasting Amethyst grey stitching. The dashboard, door sills, and other details are adorned with dark walnut wood trim and the distinctive Maybach Herringbone pattern.

The rear seats are a haven of luxury, featuring business-class seating, Robbe & Berking silver champagne flutes, and a champagne cooler.

Under the hood, the Mercedes-Maybach S 680 is powered by a mighty V12 Biturbo 6.0L engine that produces a maximum output of 612 horsepower and a peak torque of 900 Nm. This is paired with a 9G-Tronic 9-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive. With this potent powertrain, the sedan can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h.

With its extensive list of luxurious features, the Mercedes-Maybach S 680 Edition Nordic Glow carries a price tag of $339,000 (approximately 8.4 billion VND). Mercedes-Benz has announced that these limited-edition vehicles will be delivered to their fortunate American owners by the end of 2024.
