In late July 2024, Ford officially unveiled the new Tremor variant of its Ranger pickup truck in the Australian market. A month later, the Blue Oval brand introduced the Tremor version for the Ford Everest, an SUV based on the Ranger, in the land down under.

According to Ford, the Tremor is an off-road-focused version of the Everest. To achieve this, Ford equipped the SUV with an improved suspension, all-terrain tires, a more powerful diesel V6 engine, and design elements inspired by the Raptor, its high-performance off-road trim.

On the outside, the 2025 Ford Everest Tremor stands out with its new honeycomb grille. It also features auxiliary lights on the center grille bar, improving visibility in various weather conditions. This feature is also found on certain variants of the Ford Ranger, such as the Stormtrak sold in Vietnam.

Additionally, the SUV is equipped with a steel front skid plate, heavy-duty side steps, and a prominent Tremor logo in orange, contrasting against the Command Grey body color. However, the highlight of the exterior is the set of black wheels wrapped in General Grabber AT3 all-terrain tires, enhancing its off-road capabilities.

Under the skin, the 2025 Ford Everest Tremor benefits from a revised suspension with Bilstein position-sensitive dampers and new leaf springs, increasing the ground clearance by 26 mm, just like the Ranger Tremor. It also gains a new Rock Crawl driving mode, previously seen on the Ranger Raptor and Ranger Tremor, which maximizes traction and performance in low-range four-wheel drive.

Inside, the mid-size SUV features Tremor-embroidered leather seats, all-weather floor mats, new black wood trim, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. Based on the Sport trim, the Tremor has a comprehensive list of standard equipment.

Under the hood, the 2025 Ford Everest Tremor is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel V6 engine producing 247 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel-drive system. The SUV retains a maximum towing capacity of 3.5 tons.

In Australia, the 2025 Ford Everest Tremor has a starting price of AU$76,590 (approximately US$51,500). It is not the most expensive variant in the local Everest lineup, as the Platinum trim sits above it. Ford offers several optional packages for the Tremor, including the Rough Terrain Pack, Touring Pack, Premium Seat Pack, and Towing Pack.

Production of the 2025 Ford Everest Tremor is expected to commence in November this year, although the number of units to be produced remains unknown. In contrast, the Ford Ranger Tremor will have a limited production run of 1,150 units for the Australian market.
