The price of a pair of replacement headlights for the Bugatti Chiron costs significantly more than a conventional car, or even a high-end Porsche 911.
With a price tag of millions of dollars, the Bugatti Chiron is not a car for the masses. This hypercar, limited to just 500 units worldwide, presents a challenge when it comes to finding replacement parts. A recent listing on eBay Germany for a pair of used Chiron headlights stunned many with its asking price of $164,000, equivalent to the cost of a brand new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS.
While the headlights are not new, the seller claims they are in like-new condition. Shipping these headlights to European countries will cost around €1,000, except for Russia and Ukraine. Shipping to non-European countries may incur higher costs.
However, with diligent searching, prospective buyers may find similar headlight sets priced around €98,000, though still far beyond the means of the average car owner.
It’s not just the headlights that command a premium; other Bugatti Chiron components are equally expensive. For instance, each taillight costs approximately $10,000, a replacement key will set you back $13,547, and a new set of tires can cost up to $8,449. Brake disc and pad replacements can climb to over $40,000, and a new transmission will set you back a staggering $185,000.
According to one Chiron owner, the total maintenance costs for this hypercar can reach nearly $100,000 on average. However, this figure can skyrocket in the event of accidents or other unforeseen issues.
