The Lexus Pair: A Mystery Tycoon’s Ultimate Status Symbol. A mysterious tycoon’s unique pair of Lexus vehicles with exclusive number plates is a true symbol of luxury and power. The number plates alone, featuring a set of quintuple numbers, are estimated to be worth nearly 11 billion VND.

Thus, while the lucky number plate 22A-222.22 was registered to a Lexus LS460L, the quintuple-9 plate of the 36A series has been affixed to the latest model Lexus RX350. Sources indicate that the value of this number plate is almost double that of the car itself.

Recently, a mysterious millionaire sparked intrigue among car enthusiasts by registering the vintage luxury car Lexus LS460L with the exclusive VIP license plate 22A-222.22.

According to sources, the license plate 22A-222.22 was initially auctioned off to the highest bidder, who offered a staggering 12.19 billion VND. However, the deal fell through, and in the second auction, the unique plate with a series of twos, considered the most beautiful in Vietnam, was sold for 5.13 billion VND. The successful bidder promptly fulfilled the financial obligations and registered the plate to the Lexus LS460L.

Intriguingly, this millionaire’s car collection also includes another exclusive license plate: 36A-999.99. This “quintuple nine” plate was also put up for public auction and fetched a remarkable 5.285 billion VND in the second auction. In the initial auction, it had reached a bid of 7.47 billion VND but was ultimately forfeited.

The license plate 36A-999.99 is now proudly displayed on a brand-new, top-of-the-line Lexus RX350 crossover SUV.

While the Lexus LS460L boasts the distinctive license plate with a series of twos, the Lexus RX350 showcases the “quintuple nine” plate from the 36A series. Interestingly, the value of these license plates is almost double the price of the vehicles themselves.

To be specific, the Lexus LS460L has a selling price of only 2.5 billion VND, while the Lexus RX350 in Vietnam offers three versions: RX 350 Premium, RX 350 Luxury, and RX 350 F Sport, priced at 3.43 billion VND, 4.33 billion VND, and 4.72 billion VND, respectively.

The new-generation Lexus RX boasts an impressive new design aesthetic. This is evident in the front end, featuring a distinctive spindle grille and unique rhombus-shaped mesh pattern.

Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with LED headlights, L-shaped LED daytime running lights, fog lights integrated into the vertical vents on the front bumper, horizontal rear lights, and the embossed “Lexus” lettering on the trunk lid, replacing the traditional logo. The F Sport version takes it a notch higher with a unique front and rear bumper design, grille, and 21-inch wheels wrapped in 235/50 tires.

Step inside the 2023 Lexus RX, and you’ll find a spacious 5-seater cabin, thanks to an extended wheelbase of 2,850 mm. It’s not just spacious but also exudes sophistication, luxury, and modernity, enhanced by a host of new features. These include a digital instrument cluster, a central touchscreen, cloud-based navigation, a virtual assistant, over-the-air software updates, and more. The central touchscreen display measures a generous 14 inches.

The Lexus RX350 Luxury takes it up a notch with added amenities such as a Mark Levinson 21-speaker audio system, a panoramic sunroof, a digital rearview mirror, a head-up display, an automatic parking system, and a 360-degree camera.

Under the hood of the RX350 Premium, RX350 Luxury, and RX350 F Sport lies a 2.4L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers an impressive 275 horsepower and 430 Nm of maximum torque. This potent powertrain is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a full-time AWD system, resulting in a combined fuel consumption of 9.8 liters per 100 km.
