V-Green Pioneers Electric Vehicle Charging Station Franchise Model in Vietnam

V-GREEN, a leading company in the development of electric vehicle charging stations, has taken a pioneering step by introducing a franchised charging station model in Vietnam. This innovative move opens up a new and promising business field, contributing significantly to the country’s green transition.

In alignment with the campaign, “Fierce Vietnamese Spirit – For a Green Future,” V-GREEN is committed to providing strong support and partnering with businesses to accelerate the greening of electric vehicle charging stations across Vietnam.

The V-GREEN franchised charging stations are developed following the “business and people together” model, offering a potentially lucrative new business venture for all landowners nationwide.

Similar to the authentic V-GREEN-invested charging stations, the franchised ones will serve owners of VinFast electric cars and motorcycles nationwide (expected to reach 300,000 cars and 1 million motorcycles by 2025). V-GREEN pledges to share revenue at a fixed rate of 750 VND per kWh of electricity charged with partners for a minimum of 10 years. They also provide full support with management technology, financial management, maintenance, marketing to attract customers to the stations, and more.

To join V-GREEN’s “green network,” partners only need to invest in additional equipment and infrastructure to ensure the smooth operation of the charging stations. Apart from revenue sharing with V-GREEN, partners can boost their income by offering value-added services to electric vehicle owners, such as car care, shopping, and entertainment during the charging wait time.

Notably, parking lots, gas stations, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and hotels will have the opportunity to expand their customer base by investing in V-GREEN franchised charging stations. This novel business model aligns with the green economic development orientation and the strong shift towards using electric vehicles in Vietnam.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Duong, CEO of V-GREEN, shared, “The V-GREEN franchised charging station model is a breakthrough in business, promising to positively impact the development of electric vehicles in Vietnam in the coming time. We believe that this model will open up a highly potential new industry, providing investors with stable, attractive, and growing revenue. It also offers them a chance to contribute directly to the country’s green transition, building a greener future for Vietnam.”

Currently, V-GREEN owns the largest network of charging stations for electric cars and motorcycles in Vietnam, with plans for 150,000 charging ports in all 63 provinces. With a commitment to investing 10,000 billion VND in the next two years to build, upgrade, and perfect the system, V-GREEN is actively expanding the coverage of VinFast electric vehicle charging stations nationwide.

Alongside the authentic stations directly invested by V-GREEN, the franchised model aims to mobilize social resources from partners across the country, further accelerating the expansion of the charging network in Vietnam. This model is also expected to be implemented by V-GREEN in international markets in the future.
