Mitsubishi is set to officially launch the mid-life facelift of the Outlander in Q3 2024, according to plans.
The car has been frequently spotted uncovered on the streets of Japan recently.
Compared to its predecessor, the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander features subtle design tweaks. Specifically, it sports a redesigned grille and front bumper, along with upgraded LED headlights.
The prototype spotted on the road boasts a brand new Moonstone Gray Metallic exterior color. It also features sporty 20-inch alloy wheels for a more robust look.
While there are no official images of the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander interior yet, rumors suggest a redesigned dashboard, a new steering wheel, and larger digital instrument clusters and infotainment screens with enhanced functionality.
The car will feature semi-aniline leather seats with cooling functions and a Yamaha sound system.
The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander will likely be powered by a hybrid powertrain, combining a 2.4L engine with two electric motors and a 20 kWh battery for a total output of 252 hp and 450 Nm of torque. If upgraded, Mitsubishi may increase the battery capacity to extend the vehicle’s range.
The Mitsubishi Outlander 2025 is expected to debut in the European market on October 1st, with an earlier launch planned for Japan, although the exact date is unknown.
