A renowned car modification workshop in Ho Chi Minh City recently shared images of a customized VinFast VF 3, showcasing an enhanced version of the popular electric vehicle.
The car features a unique license plate, 51L-100.11, which costs VND 40 million. The plate not only has the number 11 matching the owner’s phone number but also contains several number 1 digits, reflecting the owner’s work philosophy.
One of the most expensive modifications is the pair of seats taken from the luxurious Mercedes-Benz S63 Coupe, priced at VND 280 million. This amount even surpasses the cost of the mini electric car itself. Compared to the original design, the new seats offer a larger, more embracing structure, wrapped in soft leather for a comfortable ride.
Given their high price tag, it’s no surprise that these seats are packed with premium comforts such as massage functions, electric adjustments, ventilation, and heating.Â
As of now, this might be the most extensively modified VinFast VF 3 on the market, with no similar VF 3 in sight.
On August 1, 2024, VinFast delivered nearly 100 VF 3 vehicles to customers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. From now until the end of the year, the company plans to hand over a total of 20,000 cars to its clients.
The VinFast VF 3 is designed based on thorough research into the needs and travel habits of Vietnamese people. It boasts dimensions of 3,114 x 1,673 x 1,567 mm, making it the smallest VinFast model to date.
Powering the VF 3 is an electric motor that delivers 43 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque. The car can reach a top speed of 100 km/h when the battery charge is above 50%. A single charge allows the vehicle to travel approximately 210 km based on the NEDC standard. For quick charging, it takes only 36 minutes to charge from 10% to 70%.
In terms of safety features, the VF 3 is equipped with anti-lock brakes, traction control, hill-start assist, and a single airbag.
According to VinFast, the VF 3 starts at VND 240 million when renting the battery and VND 322 million if you opt to purchase the battery.Â
