Earlier this year, in March, news of Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu’s purchase of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano supercar garnered significant attention from car enthusiasts. This was due to the fact that the car had previously spent a considerable amount of time in Mr. Vu’s garage before being sold.

However, a few days later, Mr. Vu returned the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, citing issues with transferring the ownership and some paperwork problems. Subsequently, a team of his associates took care of the necessary paperwork, registered a new license plate, and handed over the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano once again.

According to sources, this Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano supercar had resided in Mr. Vu’s garage for over six years before being sold. Now, it has returned to its former home with a new white paint job and a newly registered license plate, and it is set to make an appearance at the upcoming Gumball 3000 event next week.

This Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano supercar was previously advertised for sale at a price of over 8 billion VND. The original paint color of the car was red, but Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu, the previous owner, had it repainted white. Subsequently, the third owner of the car returned it to its original red color with a wrap.

The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano supercar was imported into the country back in August 2009, which means it has been 15 years. The car has had only four owners so far. The first owner was based in Hanoi, after which Mr. Vu purchased it before selling it to a showroom in Saigon in 2021. Half a year later, it found its third owner, who then sold it to a car collector in Saigon before it was eventually bought back by “Qua” Vu.

The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is the older brother of the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, a model with no fewer than six units in Vietnam, three of which are owned by Mr. Vu. This super horse made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in 2006 and was the most powerful Ferrari at the time of its launch.

The design of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is unmistakable, with its elongated front end and shortened rear. Its headlamps are beautifully designed and remain one of the most impressive sets of “eyes” even to this day. “GTB” stands for GranTurismo Berlinetta, indicating that this is a Grand Tourer with a two-door Coupe body style.

The rear end of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano has a rather seductive design. The car’s appearance is the result of a collaboration between the Italian supercar maker and Pininfarina, the renowned car designer who is now a partner of the Vietnamese automotive brand Vinfast. The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano still sports the same standard wheels it had when it was first imported, featuring a five-spoke dual-tone design in silver.

Under the hood, the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine that produces a maximum output of 612 horsepower and 608 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission, enabling the supercar to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, and it has a top speed of 330 km/h. The car has also been fitted with a Frequency Intelligent Exhaust (FI) system worth hundreds of millions of VND.
