On the evening of September 9, 2024, social media was abuzz with images of a luxurious Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV with a unique Sharjah license plate cruising through the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City.
This stunning SUV is set to participate in the upcoming Gumball 3000 2024 supercar event in Vietnam this weekend. However, it was a surprise to spot it rolling down Dong Khoi Street in District 1, the city’s most vibrant shopping hub.
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan, with its sleek Gumball 3000 livery and distinctive license plate bearing the number 1, certainly turned heads in Vietnam’s bustling metropolis. While the value of this particular Sharjah license plate is unknown, a similar Dubai license plate sold for a staggering $14.3 million.
The world’s largest supercar event, taking place on September 14 and 15, 2024, in Vietnam, will feature three standard Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUVs and one exclusive Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge.
Dubbed the world’s most expensive “mobile diamond,” the Rolls-Royce Cullinan draws its name from the legendary 3,106-carat flawless diamond that sits atop the British Crown Jewels.
Under the hood of this exceptional SUV beats a heart of pure power—a twin-turbocharged V12 engine with a displacement of 6.75 liters, delivering an impressive 563 horsepower and a maximum torque of 850 Nm at 1,600 rpm.
The engine is paired with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, satellite-aided transmission for seamless gear shifts, all-wheel drive, and an innovative all-wheel steering system. The Rolls-Royce Cullinan’s top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.
