According to AutoEvolution, Mr. Ian Cameron, a former automotive designer for BMW and Rolls-Royce, was murdered at his home in Bavaria, Germany. The 74-year-old was found deceased at the entrance of his villa. Local police reported that Ian Cameron had been stabbed by a man who then fled the scene on foot.

German police have launched a manhunt to find the perpetrator of Ian Cameron’s murder. It is known that a power cable to a surveillance camera located in the garage where Ian Cameron stored his car collection was cut. This detail has led many to suspect that the assailant attempted to steal one of the cars from Ian Cameron’s collection.

However, according to The Sun, a police official believes it is rare for an intruder to be so well prepared and yet ultimately resort to murder.

Per AutoEvolution, the attacker likely fled the scene on foot after the assault. The perpetrator is described as being between 5’11” and 6’2″ tall, wearing light-colored trousers, a dark blue hoodie, yellow-green gloves, and carrying a red backpack.

German police have deployed search dogs, helicopters, and divers to hunt for the killer. Divers have begun searching around Lake Ammersee near the crime scene, but no traces of the suspect have been found. According to German police, there are no signs indicating that the perpetrator poses a danger to residents or passersby in the area.
