On September 11, 2024, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam proudly introduced the All-New Triton, boasting a series of enhancements in its exterior, interior, and engine performance.

A Bold New Look: Dynamic, Sporty, and Captivating

The All-New Triton undergoes a remarkable transformation with its exterior redesign, inspired by the “Beast Mode” concept – bold, rugged, yet sporty. The large honeycomb grille, combined with a square front bumper, makes a powerful first impression.

The matching rear bumper adds a sporty touch to the overall design. The modern LED projector headlights in a T-shape, integrated with L-shaped LED daytime running lights, enhance aesthetics and improve visibility for the driver.

Mitsubishi Motors’ signature Dynamic Shield design language harmoniously blends performance and protection, resulting in a stylish and modern front end. Character lines extend from the front to the rear, along with large wheel arch cladding, creating a sporty and robust appearance. The unique T-shaped LED taillights add a touch of elegance while improving vehicle recognition.

The All-New Triton’s groundbreaking design has earned three prestigious international design awards, including the iF Design Award 2024 and two Good Design Awards 2023 in Japan and the USA.

The All-New Triton boasts significantly increased overall dimensions, resulting in a commanding presence and a spacious, comfortable interior. With a wheelbase of up to 3,130 mm, ample legroom is ensured for all passengers. The approach angle of 30.4 degrees, departure angle of 22.8 degrees, and ground clearance of 228 mm, along with a tight turning radius of 6.2 m, make the Triton agile and confident in both off-road adventures and urban navigation.

The Triton leads its segment with a large cargo bed, measuring 1,470 x 1,545 x 520 mm (length x width x height), and a maximum payload capacity of 740 kg (varying across versions). The bed is equipped with a liner featuring drainage channels and utility hooks for convenient cargo arrangement and protection.

With a low bed height of 821 mm and spacious, anti-slip side steps, loading and unloading cargo is made safe and effortless.

The All-New Triton features an upgraded chassis with a larger footprint and the use of high-tensile steel, improving vibration absorption, noise insulation, and stability. The suspension has been fine-tuned with a 2 mm increase in the front stabilizer bar diameter and a 20 mm increase in shock absorber travel, allowing the Triton to adapt to various terrain conditions. The rear suspension utilizes larger shock absorbers and optimized leaf springs, enhancing durability without compromising carrying capacity. This setup ensures a comfortable and smooth ride for both driver and passengers, even on challenging terrain.

Super Select 4WD-II and 7 Drive Modes – Versatile on Any Terrain

The All-New Triton continues the legacy of the renowned Super Select 4WD-II system, offering four standard drive modes (2H, 4H, 4HLc, and 4LLc) and a rear differential lock. It now introduces seven diverse drive modes: Gravel, Mud/Snow, Sand, and Rock, in addition to the standard Eco, Normal, and Power modes.
